It has been pouring on and off for days in Dublin.
I have a love/hate relationship with wet Irish weather this summer. I love it because I don’t have to water my outdoor plants, that is a great advantage. Things are green and lush and beautiful. Also Tillie and I get to wear our matching yellow Lighthouse jackets.
On the other hand there is not much day light, the gloom starts to creep in and shadow our house making it dark which in turn makes me feel lazy. We then stay inside for the most part and most outdoor activities have to be put on hold.
So here we are, stuck indoors. And here we are having to keep ourselves entertained. Tillie and I have read lots of books, watched too much Netflix, built block towers, listened to records, danced like no one was watching, threw food (her not me!), we drew pictures, she chased Rosti, … it’s been fun, but we are ready to go outside!
We are ready for the sunshine to come back! We want to go on walks!
…I think, as I type this, that I should get off this laptop. I should go dress Tillie and myself in our matching jackets, wrangle up Kuba, throw on our rain boots and go play in the puddles. We should take advantage of this wet weather instead of complain about it. Yep, that sounds good!
We will be back!
I promise that I will never work to endorse or promote a product that I don’t like and wouldn’t use.
